                                    3. A strange, abnormal, or unusual person or thing

                                    4. An ardent enthusiast

                 "Jesus Freak" started off as a derogatory term for people who were radical in the way they followed Jesus. True believer, however, took it as a compliment- to be labeled a Jesus Freak meant others saw a difference in your life, and that- perhaps- Jesus was beginning to mess with their lives as well. And that is a good thing.  A Jesus Freak is one who knows he or she cannot be perfect without God's incredible Grace and Mercy and daily seeks those two gifts. A Jesus Freak has chosen to leave his life behind and seek the abundant life God promises. This is a choice that is made daily and some day's are better than others. But still, God Forgives.

If you have not yet made the decision to leave all and follow Jesus, perhaps once you have tasted of the banquet our Host sets out each day, featuring His strength instead of your weakness, Hope in place of hopelessness, and peace, and mercy, and justice in overflowing amounts, you will also decide to become a Jesus Freak.
